Cartel Gang

The bullet rapidly flies beyond the right of the head. Willis’ sweat drips from his forehead to the surface. He loads for his second shot. His eyes portraying focus to what was in front. He pulls the trigger for his second shot. Silence. He then glances at his father. He doesn’t say a word.

“Be calm, you have potential, I see it within you.” Says Louis, a member of the Cartel gang who was Leroy’s right hand man.

“I can’t do it!” Yells Willis in distress. Willis looks at his father Leroy as if he wanted to rip his face apart.

“Don’t let your anger come over your weak little body.”

The night was full of rain and hail. Everyone was inside, undercover, keeping warm. There are whole lot trees surrounding the whole camp. Wooden sheds providing the members of the gang. Leroy was in charge of The Cartel Gang. It seems like he was doing a pretty good job.

“We’re not going inside until you hit the damn target, OK!” Leroy demands.

“I’m sorry, please don’t do anything to me, please, I’m sorry father.” Willis stances in a strong firm position. As he lifts the shotgun upwards, his sweaty fingers slip onto the trigger, accidentally firing the gun into a nearby tree.

“What was that?” Shouts Leroy. Willis’ body starts trembling…

“Take off your shirt!” screams Leroy.

“Woah, man, Leroy is this necessary? There’s no need for such brutal actions to take place.” Louis pleads Leroy. Leroy aggressively shoves past Louis. He walks towards his son. Willis was absolutely terrified. He was a scared little boy with hardly any knowledge of life. Leroy sighs, and then stands beside the target, with a frown still on his face.

“Shoot one more time. Don’t miss this time.” Leroy supposedly threatens. Deep, purple bruises were spread all over Willis’ body. “Shoot its head or else.” Tears were shredded from Willis’ eyes. The bullet leaves the gun. And zips right through the air… Striking the targets shoulder.

Willis nervously turns his head towards his father.

“Not good enough.” Leroy takes a few steps towards Willis. He stares at the sky in disappointment.

“Listen son, I need you to be ready for what’s out there, you need to be ready for when the moment comes when you are face to face with the enemy.” There is not a sound in the entire camp. “So, get on the floor,” Louis walks right up to Leroy. They both look at Willis with a sudden surprise. Willis was nervously pointing his gun towards his father.

“Willis put the gun down now, stop messin around,” Louis commands.

“No, it’s ok, Willis needs to learn.” Leroy steps closer to his son. “Go ahead, take your best shot. If you feel like this is the right decision for the Cartel Gang.” Willis slowly reloads the gun and points it at Leroy’s head.

“I’ll shoot,”

“Of course you will.” The whole village comes outside and surrounds Willis and his father. “Son, it’s up to you, do what you want. GO RIGHT AHEAD!” Louis looks at Leroy and takes off in the opposite direction. Willis stares nervously into his father’s eyes. Suddenly Leroy starts counting. “three!” Leroy shouts as noises come from the supposing crowd.

“Two!” Willis takes a step closer. Then Leroy takes a step back. Then, unexpectedly, screeching bells start ringing from the forest. Everyone begins to panic. Except Leroy. “One!” The bells are becoming louder. “The time is now or never.”

“You’re not my father!” Moments later…

A bullet is fired into Leroy’s head…

Ember Tribe

Angus, mate they’ve done it again, now I’m trapped, stuck, behind bars, I’m helpless. Angus I am sorry, I should not have been played this easily.

“Keep talking Jack,” Says Angus. I am at a place called what I think is the post prison. All because of the Cartel Gang. All because of them. Especially Leroy.

“Jack, we’re getting you out of there, alive. Then we will get our revenge.

“Everyone listen up, we are one as a family, and when one of us is missing, or is captured, we rescue them. We are the Embers. So let’s all rescue Jack as a big, loving family.” Angus leads everyone to their brand new motorcycles. “It’s about time we needed an upgrade.

Jack was standing in his cell peeking through the slim, sticky, slimy bars. All of a sudden, he heard gunshots. Blasted that echoed through the building. With a blink of an eye. All the cops were down. Footsteps were walking towards Jack’s cell.

“Angus, that was fast, really fast.” Says Jack.

“Let’s get out of here, quickly. Let’s move!” Angus tells his tribe.

“What about the Cartel Gang?” Asks Jack.

“That where we’re off to next. It’s about time we finished off this war.” The Ember Tribe and the Cartel Gang have been in a lot of trouble before. Jack could not wait to get his long awaited revenge.

The night was full of rain and hail. Everyone was riding through the trees on their motorcycles.

“Guys, by the way, these new bikes have a special sound system. Does everyone see that green button to your right on the bike?” Angus asks the tribe.

“Yes sir! Yells the tribe. At the same time, a sound of ringing bells was being played loudly echoing throughout the forest. They were heading towards the Cartel Gang. Jack’s face has not been more determined and excited than it has in his whole life.

“Don’t worry Angus; I won’t let you don’t this time.”

The ringing bells became louder. They arrive at the edge of the camp. They have a clear view of what is going on.

Jack pulls out his sniper, he looks through his scope. He sees Leroy holding a little boy by the shirt and a destroyed gun on the ground.

“This is my time,” Jack says to himself. A bullet is fired into Leroy’s head.
